The DAP central executive committee (CEC) has deferred its decision on the appeal by Tee Boon Hock, who is seeking to nullify the party disciplinary committee's decision to sack him.
Party secretary-general Lim Guan Eng said that the CEC needs time to consult the Selangor government first before arriving at a decision.
Tee was sacked by the DAP for allegedly issuing a support letter endorsing a his son's company which was seeking state government contracts.
