Over the weekend, an Australian exchange student fell nearly 1,000 feet to her death from a cliff in Norway.

Norway’s Trolltunga cliff is a popular destination for tourists and photographers due to its greatly extended, fenceless overhang which allows for stunning views. 
Sadly, the cliff has claimed the life of an Australian exchange student.
Over the weekend, 24-year-old Kristi Kafcaloudis was visiting the site with friends when she fell nearly 1,000 feet to her death.
The woman’s mother released a statement thanking police and a Red Cross rescue team for their efforts to retrieve her daughter.
