Dramatic footage has emerged of the moment a woman was thrown from a ring going down a water slide at speed in Bedfordshire, UK.
The video, captured by the brother of the woman who was thrown from the ring in the middle of its descent, shows her flying off the side into the wall of the tunnel at a branch of Centre Parcs.
As the others reach the bottom on the ring - she can be seen landing separately before being immobilised on a spinal board by lifeguards and taken to hospital. The video was captured in mid-August.
The filmer wrote online: "My family and I were in Woburn Centre Parcs last week catching up with the rest of my family. We had been doing lots of activities over the various days, and a common one was going on the slides at the swimming pool.
"We had gone down this specific ride many times before. I was recording on my GoPro Hero 4 because it was new and funny to see people's reaction as we went down this ride.
"My sister fell off the ride due to not holding on tight enough. She slipped backwards off the inflatable because of the impacts of the rushing water."
He added that she was "only bruised" after being x-rayed and that the family "very impressed" with the lifeguards.
