The Army is looking for help locating a dummy missile inadvertently dropped from a helicopter in Upstate New York on the morning of August 28th.

Items get lost during air transit all the time, and while they’re often luggage or other personal effects, the U.S. Army is looking for help locating something much more unique. 

Officials recently reported that a dummy missile weighing about 100 pounds was inadvertently dropped from a helicopter in Upstate New York on the morning of August 28th. 
The black projectile measures roughly 65 inches long by 7 inches wide.
