The crisis in the Venezuela-Colombia border region continues as the two countries seek ways to diffuse the situation. The foreign ministers of Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez, and Colombia, Maria Angela Holguin are scheduled to meet later this morning. Rodriguez called on Colombia to play a more active role in combating smuggling and paramilitary activity.
