Neither the men's or women's Lead World Cup tours have gone at all as expected this year and while the men's event was slightly more business as usual, things continued to get shaken up in the women's event. Mina Markovič continued her blistering run of form, taking first with Austria's Jessica Pilz in second and Belgian climber Anak Verhoeven in third. The usually unstoppable Jain Kim finished in fourth and now sits third in the overall standings behind Markovič and Pilz in first and second respectively. Meanwhile in the men's event, competition veterans Adam Ondra and Romain Desgranges made it onto the podium in second and third respectively, but once again it was Frenchman Gautier Supper who most impressed, taking first place in Stavanger and strengthening his position in the overall standings. To learn more about Gautier Supper, you can check out today's edition of our French climbing show, Relais Vertical. It will require some French language skills however!
