A team from E/V Nautilus recently shared an adorable video of a dumbo octopus, named thus because of their big ears, hiding in its own tentacles.

A team from E/V Nautilus recently shared an adorable video of a Dumbo octopus, named thus because of their ear flaps, hiding in its own tentacles.  

The crew was going about their usual business, exploring and filming the day-to-day lives of underwater creatures. 

Before calling it a wrap, they decided to move in for a better look at the cephalopod, but the animal wasn’t quite ready for its close up.
