Ahmedabad: In the year 1940, with the inspiration of Mahatma Gandhi, Madame Montessori founded a primary school for underprivileged children at the Gandhi Ashram in the city. The building is locked since 27 years and is in poor condition. The locked doors of the building that was meant for the underprivileged children have left many kids refrained from studies.
