Karpal: Judge should act over Saiful's TV3 interview

Lead counsel for Anwar Ibrahim's sodomy case Karpal Singh has said that the presiding Judge should act over the plaintiff Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan's interview on TV3.
"I think the Judge should do something... Judges have a duty, you know, on the spot, issue a show cause letter. I think that is what the Judge should do.
On August 16, TV3's prime news programme Buletin Utama had aired an exclusice interview with Saiful over his predicament as a result of the case.
However, Karpal refused to elaborate further, pointing out that the case was ongoing.
Karpal was speaking at the Kuala Lumpur High Court today after interviewing another witness, Puswari staff nurse Yazihan Jusoh with senior lawyer Param Cumaraswamy and Sankara Nair.
Anwar was also present during the interview.
