In a recent visit to Saint Lucia, the world renowned Youth Orchestra of Venezuela led workshops for over 200 young people and hosted concerts in towns and villages throughout the country. The visiting musicians were excited about sharing the joys of music with Saint Lucian youth and hope that with their help, Saint Lucia can establish its very own orchestra. The Director of the Saint Lucia School of Music welcomed the visit of the young musicians for whom music is a way of cultivating values and discipline, a transformative tool for social change.
