A new survey has revealed that most Paraguayans disapprove of the Horacio Cartes administration. As many as 64% of those polled characterized the President’s performance as “bad” or “very bad”and asked for better policies regarding employment, security and health. Horacio Cartes was elected in April 2013, shortly after a parliamentary coup against the only progressive president in the country’s history, Fernando Lugo. Cartes promised to reduce poverty rates before the end of his term of office in 2018. teleSUR
