The remains of two Bolivian soldiers killed in Peru in the 1880s War of the Pacific were honored at a special ceremony in Lima and are now being repatriated to Bolivia, where they will be received by President Evo Morales. The War of the Pacific involved Chile, Peru and Bolivia between 1879 and 1883. It ended with Chile’s annexation of a vast expanse of land from Peru and Bolivia, leaving Bolivia without access to the sea. teleSUR
