Egypt announced the opening of the Rafah border crossing with the Gaza Strip for four days as of Monday. An estimated 20,000 Palestinians are expected to cross into Egypt, their only route to the outside world. The border opening could allow 3,000 Palestinians stranded in Egypt to return to Gaza.
