A 24-year-old app developer from North Texas struck a chord with potato fans and struck it rich in the process. His business, Potato Parcel, will send a 100-140 character message anonymously anywhere in the U.S. The message is written on a potato.

Alex Craig's girlfriend initially wasn't very supportive of his potato-centric business plan. 

But now that he's clearing around $10,000 a month in profit, she might be singing a different tune about his spud-induced success.

Craig started Potato Parcel in May of this year. His brilliant but simple idea: send people potatoes containing a custom message.
