There've been calls in Malaysia for the nation to follow Singapore's lead and impose stricter regulations on all online news sites.

Singapore's Media Development Authority this week announced licensing fees for news site that garner 50,000 unique visitors in two months, and report an average of at least one Singapore-related news article a week also over two months.
