The search for the body of a missing Penang hawker believed to be trapped in a crater after a freak storm last week has been called off.

Lim Chin Aik's remains are thought to be in the crater in Jalan Macalister - caused by the impact of a 50 metre-long lightning rod that fell off the Umno headquarters building and reportedly onto Lim's car.
