Deputy Home Minister Wan Junaidi Wan Jaafar says foreigners could be using the increasing number of MyKads lost by Malaysians.
Wan Junaidi says nearly 400,000 MyKads were reported lost in 2010, and this increased drastically to more than 565,000 cards lost until October this year.
