Hundreds gathered near Pont d’Arcole in Paris to rally against a ‘Tel Aviv beach’ created on a section of the Seine river bank. Protesters opposed to the event see its festive nature as a provocation which ignores the killing of more than 2,200 people during the Israeli 'Protective Edge' operation in the Gaza strip last summer.
