Natural Resources and Environment Minister says that 12 locations have recorded unhealthy air quality levels, while Port Klang's air is now dangerous, due to the haze.

He says rain is expected this week or by March 23rd the latest.

In the meantime, an open burning ban is in force in Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya. Those caught defying the ban will be punished.
