Well, this certainly isn’t one for the scrapbook.

While marching through the gates at Buckingham Palace, one of the Queen’s guards lost his balance and fell backwards.

Unfortunately, the fall was captured on camera by a royal fan and the footage was posted online.

In the video a group of seven guardsmen can be seen marching into the Palace Court.

The group of soldiers were taking part in the changing of the guard, a tradition which takes place at 11.30am daily between April and July.

The guards had marched from Wellington Barracks to Buckingham Palace ready to take their posts protecting the Queen and her residence.

Of course this isn’t the first time the Queen’s guard has been filmed doing things slightly out of the ordinary.
