Amidst poll irregularities opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim called a press conference alongside PKR's deputy president candidates to explain the action taken after the discrepancies.

The heated contest for the deputy president post has had instances of violence and ruckuses that caused the suspension of voting in several Selangor PKR divisions last week.
