The newly elected University Malaya student council's (PMUM) plans to send a memorandum to Perak Sultan Nazrin Shah was hampered several times today by security.

Their attempts to send the memorandum on the UM8 were obstructed by security inside the Chancellor's Hall and outside, when the Sultan, who is also the UM's chancellor prepared to get into his car.
