At least twenty people have been injured, some seriously, when two cranes fell onto a row of houses in the western Dutch city of Alphen aan den Rijn.
The cranes were restoring a nearby bridge when they fell down.
A spokesperson for the local fire brigade said heavy machinery is being sent to locate anyone who may be trapped in the wreckage.
