Pakatan Rakyat MPs gathered in solidarity today to condemn the arrest against The Malaysian Insider(TMI) staffs. The MPs deduced that the arrests were done to suppress press freedom and for speaking against the government.

According to PAS' Sepang MP Hanipa Maidin the recent police dragnet only proves that Malaysia was headed to a police state.
