A man in Algeria is suing his new bride for $20,000 over her misleading use of makeup.

Disputes and disappointments among married couples are common, but one man in Algeria feels his grievance with his new wife is worthy of a lawsuit. 


He’s suing the woman for $20,000 for fraud over her misleading use of makeup. 


A person at the proceedings explained to the court, "He said he was deceived by her as she used to fill up her face with make up before their marriage. He said she looked very beautiful and attractive before marriage…” 


After the wedding, however, the groom saw his new bride cosmetic-free for the first time.


He claims the sight shocked him and caused him to endure “psychological suffering.”
