Ian Barrow, general manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Kuala Lumpur talks about the talks conferences and events. The hotel is one of the few location equipped for large scale conferences and events.

He says, "We have over 20,000 square feet of space. We have a grand ballroom, which is where we have held quite a lot of large regional conference events. We also have a range of twelve different banquet rooms of different sizes many with natural light. Also, everything is on one level, so everyone has the ability to move around from room to room very easily. You can also walk around the pool area so it is a very nice environment when you come out of the meeting rooms for a break from the stress that business meetings can invariably bring. The restaurants are also able to cater to that floor and the floor above.

It has worked particularly well for the large events. We have a business centre that has all of the facilities that you require for a successful meeting such as audio-visual facilities, wireless internet connection and a comfortable environment."
