Ruben Espinoza, photographer for Proceso magazine, was among the five people found tortured and murdered in Mexico City last Friday with bound hands and signs of torture. Also found murdered in the same apartment were four women including anti-government activist Nadia Vera, who had voiced concerns about her safety 8 months ago. She held the government of Veracruz responsible for anything that might happen to her. The murders have sparked widespread protests. teleSUR
