Several people, who had gathered in memory of the victims of last year’s attack on the Trade Unions House in Odessa, Ukraine, were attacked by assailants that reportedly tried to disrupt the demonstration by threatening particular activists. Local police were deployed to separate the two groups. On May 2, 2014, 48 people were killed and over 200 injured when radicals set the local trade unions house on fire with dozens of people inside.
