Ex Chilean Dictator Augusto Pinochet covered up a report that accused military officers of burning two activists alive in 1986. U.S. photographer Rodrigo Rojas, then age 19, and 18-year-old Carmen Gloria Quintana were set ablaze by military officials during a labor strike. The new documents released by U.S. non-profit National Security Archive show that an investigation by Chilean police at the time found that an army patrol was involved, but Pinochet buried the findings. Quintana charges that a policy of concealment still exists in the Chilean Army. teleSUR
