Carmen Gloria Quintana, who narrowly escaped death by burning during the Pinochet dictatorship, is demanding a sweeping investigation and punishment of all those involved in the crime. In 1986, at the age of 18, she was smothered in gasoline and set ablaze by soldiers. Six former military officers were charged with murder on Friday after a military conscript changed his previous testimony, saying the officers intentionally set her ablaze before leaving her in a ditch. Quintana says all guilty parties must be punished. teleSUR
