Once the lone voice of dissent on the Iran nuclear deal, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius was in Tehran this Wednesday, seeking to smooth over any strains created by France's tough stance during the nuclear negotiations. Fabius also turned up bearing an invitation for the Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani, to visit Paris in November.
