When making a Mojito you need the following:
a pinch of mint
1/2 or 1 lime depending on your lime's ripeness and personal taste
2 oz of White Rum
2 tbs. or 1 oz of simple syrup (you can use store bought Sugar Cane Juice)
Soda Water
Ice
a 12-14 oz glass(it can be a collins glass or large tumbler)
a muddler or elongated device with a flat end that fits in a glass
a shaker or glass that can fit over your serving glass.

First you will want to muddle (bruise not mash) your mint with the juice of one of your wedges of limes. This allows for the oils and the lime to mix together well. Then add the other wedges you want to add (anywhere from 2-3 more depending on your taste preference and ripeness of the lime). Next ad you 2 tbs. or 1 oz of simple syrup/cane juice
