United Launch Alliance's (ULA) launched the 7th Wideband Global SATCOM-7 (WGS-7) satellite atop the Delta IV rocket from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. The WGS satellite is aimed at providing further navigational assistance to the US military, namely through battle management and combat support.
