Folk costumes from the regions of Istria, Dalmatia and Kvarner, as well as from , Italy, Slovenia, Macedonia and Moldavia will flood Poreč’s old town centre during the renowned Mediterranean folklore festival “Zlatna sopela” (The Golden Flute).

The summer cultural event you mustn’t miss will show you the cultural and traditional richness and diversity of the Mediterranean and of the distant countries. You will travel the world in a blink of an eye through attractive dances and music played on a variety of folk instruments at numerous locations throughout Poreč.

Apart from dances, costumes and folk instruments, during the manifestation every country will also present the visitors of Poreč its traditional handicrafts, cuisine and souvenirs, giving them an opportunity to learn the steps of the most interesting folk dances.
