Just recently we told you that Salman Khan wanted his Bajrangi Bhaijaan to be made tax free, right? Well, his wish as come true as Akhilesh Yadav, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh announced tax free status for the film.

The movie that has been creating wonders at the Box Office, was made tax free after the film’s director Kabir Khan met with Mr. Yadav with a request.

While assuming all cooperation and support to filmmakers who desire to use the state for movie shoots, CM said that a lot of movies have been shot in state. This is not the first tax free film in the state, others include Masaan, Hamari Adhuri Kahani, Miss Tanakpur Haazir Ho and Tevar.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is a film that about friendship between India and Pakistan. It also promotes religious harmony between the two. Now, are you glad that the film was made tax free in the state? Let us know what you think!
