Footage shows the effect of the explosion that rocked the Afghan Parliament in Kabul on Monday, with MPs running to-and-fro as the Taliban let off a suicide bomb in close proximity to the building. At least six Taliban gunmen and five civilians were reportedly killed in the attack. 31 civilians also sustained injuries. A large car bomb was set off shortly after Mohammed Masoom Stanekzai arrived in parliament to be sworn in as the new defense minister. Sporadic gunfire was then heard as the gunmen attacked the building, with the ensuing firefight reportedly lasting for up to two hours.
