Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has accused the transnational Exxon-Mobil corporation of meddling in the affairs of Latin America and the Caribbean, stirring up a century-long dispute with neighboring Guyana. Exxon Mobil was granted exploration rights in disputed waters, breaking protocol and hindering negotiations between the two countries.
