The Argentine Congress unanimously approved a bill that would deny amnesty to those convicted of human rights violations and invalidate any pardons granted to those convicted or investigated for such crimes. During former president Carlos Menem's government, military officials accused of human rights violations had been pardoned. The country's 30,000 disappeared political activists and the children stolen from them has been a major issue. Laureano Ponce reports from Buenos Aires. teleSUR
