Patan: The forest officials of Radhanpur are accused of misappropriating NREGA funds to the tune of Rs.50 lakh. The incident came to light after an RTI. As per the RTI activist, officials have wrongfully withdrew amounts under the employment scheme. They have issued job cards of dead persons and thus misappropriated funds sanctioned under National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGA).
