Jaguar Land Rover Signs Contract Manufacturing Agreement With Magna Steyr

Jaguar Land Rover has agreed a manufacturing partnership with Magna International Inc.’s operating unit, Magna Steyr, for building some vehicles in Austria.
Yep…with plans in place for taking three manufacturing facilities of the company in United Kingdom close to their operating capacity, the collaboration with the operating unit will be creating extra volumes required for supporting Jaguar Land Rover’s plans to achieve further growth.
Over the past couple of years, the automaker has invested over £10 billion in capital expenditure and new production creation, doubled the employment to over 35,000 people and doubled sales to over 462,000 vehicles.
With over 100 years of experience, Magna Steyr has extensive contract manufacturing expertise. Seems like the automaker is reinforcing its global manufacturing presence with the construction of new plant in Brazil and opening joint venture factory in China!
