This passenger plane bears the face of the Amur tiger, one of the most critically endangered species in the world. Russia’s Transaero Airlines painted one of their Boeing 747-400’s with the unmistakable face of an Amur tiger, also known as a Siberian Tiger, and it could be seen taxiing at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport. Amur Tigers are among the largest breed of cats in the world, with males weighing from 400 to 675 pounds. Considered critically endangered, just 500 of the huge cats are estimated to be living in the wild.
