Pelicans swim about and fly over Arabian sea close to the shores of the little Rann of Kutch, Gujarat. These hundreds of pelicans dominate over other small birds in the area and enjoy there natural habitat.

It is a predominantly white bird with black edged wings and a pink bill and sometimes yellow in case of asian pelicans. It has been recorded as having the longest bill of any living bird. It mainly eats fish, but will also consume birds and scavenges for scraps.The great white pelican (Pelecanus onocrotalus) also known as the eastern white pelican, rosy pelican or white pelican is a bird in the pelican family. It breeds from southeastern Europe through Asia and in Africa in oceans, swamps and lakes.
