THE WOLF AMONG US FIRST LOOK (Escapist News Now)

TellTale Games have been working on their episodic Fables game for quite some time, but now we finally get a look at some screenshots.

Based on Bill Willingham's award-winning comic book series, the game titled The Wolf Among Us is slated to launch later this summer on Xbox Live, PSN, and MC and PC. The story of the game is set prior to the events in the first issue of the comic series and puts you as the role of Bigby Wolf, more famously known as the Big Bad Wolf.

Exiled from the land of fairy tales and working as a sheriff in hidden community in New York, Bigby keeps order in the society of mythical creatures at the behest of Snow White, who is this universe isn't a princess, but a bureaucrat. You'll see other characters like one of the Three Little Pigs who chain smokes and Cinderella who uses her beauty to extract information as a spy.

During the game players will be put in situations where they have to make moral choices, similar to Telltale's famed series The Walking Dead. In an interview with Game Informer the lead writer said, "One of the themes is the idea that if the damsel in distress saw what the white knight had to do to get her out of distress, she might not think of him in the same way."
