XBOX ONE REVEALED! (Escapist News Now)

The new Xbox is called Xbox One.

The specs include an 8 Core CPU, 500GB HDD for storage, 8GB RAAM, 64-bit architecture, 5 Billion Transistors, and yes a Blu-Ray player. As rumored it will come integrated with Kinect that which is a cornerstone of many of entertainment functions.

At the event Microsoft emphasized Instant Switching. The processors on the Xbox One will be able to instantly switch between music, live TV and playing games. Speaking of which, you will be able to integrate your cable with your Xbox to watch live TV from your Xbox.

There will be universal gestures to control the interface like grab and pan to go back and forth from the home screen, and swipe. There is also Snap Mode that allows you to run multiple programs at the same time, similar to picture-in-picture mode.

Xbox One Guide was introduced as a way to easily check out your local TV listings from the Xbox One user interface utilizing Kinect voice commands. So what if you don't like motion and voice control? Don't worry there is a sleek new controller as well that features impulse triggers, wi-fi direct radio tracking, and precision directional pad, plus the Kinect recognizes the controller as well.

Smart Glass will also be natively integrated to Xbox One, showing off new features like exclusive partnership Xbox has with the NFL to bring you content to your console and integrated features like real-time Fantasy Football updates.

The console will also act as your game DVR, allowing you to save gameplay to the cloud along with editing it with integrated tools and allowing you to share it online.
