XBOX ONE GAMES ANNOUNCED (Escapist News Now)

Microsoft unveiled Forza Motorsport 5 which will be a launch title for the console coming later this year. It features, you guessed it, CARS! They will give a more detailed look at the racing franchise at E3 in a few weeks.

There was a demonstration from Remedy, the folks behind Alan Wake, for a new game called Quantum Break that showed an elaborate ship wreck sequence, but gave little detail on what the game is actually about.

EA Sports showed off a slew of material for their upcoming sports games including Madden 25, NBA Live 14, a new UFC game, and FIFA 14 which will have an Xbox One exclusive mode called Ultimate Team Mode. All of those games will utilize EA's new Sports Ignite engine which improves animation quality, adds reactive environments and smarter AI.

Other games newly announced for Xbox One include Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag from Ubisoft and the new Thief from Square Enix plus many more.

Microsoft said there would be 15 exclusive titles for Xbox One in the first year and that 8 of those titles will be new franchises.
