APPLE PRODUCTS BANNED IN U.S. (Escapist News Now)
A U.S. trade agency issued a ban on imports of several Apple products including the iPhone 4 and a variant of the iPad 2 after finding the devices violate a Samsung patent. We all know Apple loves making their stuff in China, like most everyone else, so this affects their ability to bring them here to the U.S. for sales.
Die hard Apple fans don't need to worry as they probably have the newest and latest Apple gear which is exempt. The iPhone 4 is one of the oldest models currently sold, and only the 3G AT&T version of iPad 2 is affected. There are some older models also banned.
President Obama could invalidate this ruling. His administration has said they are against the trade commission being able to impose these types of bans, so it is possible this decision could be reversed. He has 60 days to take action on it.
