BATTLEFIELD 4 MP CLASSES DETAILED (Escapist News Now)

The standard classes return in Battlefield 4, Assault, Recon, Engineer, and Support and are playable as Russian, Chinese, and American soldiers. DICE says the classes while stemming from Battlefield 3, are "vastly different" than before.
The Engineer class for example has a lot more variation in anti-vehicle weapons and the way vehicles are disabled has been revamped. They'll also get high damage weapons like the RPG-7V2 and the fan favorite Wire Guided Engineer Missile from Battlefield 2.
The Support class has more offensive options than before but will keep the claymores and C4. This class will also have an, "XM25 for indirect suppressive fire, a remote mortar for distance attacks, and the ability to use both carbines and DMRs."
Assault class will still remain the combat medic with med kits and defibrillators but also gets a First Aid Kit which heals a single soldier over time. Plus the run-and-gun soldier will also get the 40mm Flash Bang round to help clear rooms.
Lastly, the Recon class has gotten a mobility boost, "as well as the return of the Spec Ops style from Battlefield 2." There are also revamping sniping mechanics with rebalanced sniper rifles, the ability to zero your sights, and new optics accessories.
Battlefield 4 will be out on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on October 29th, and coming to Xbox One and PS4.
