Hi everyone—This is Red, the show where we are breaking down all of the hottest looks on the Red Carpet. Today's fashion standout is Nina Dobrev at PaleyFest in Beverly Hills, California.

Dobrev, who never seems to disappoint on the carpet stepped out in a dress by fashion designer and reality tv star, Rachel Zoe.

The 23 year old actress looked stunning in the black frock that hit right above her knees. The dress showed off Dobrev's fit figure and was overall simple with a few added frills like the ruffling around the neckline and a little touch of sparkle.

The Vampire Diaries star jazzed up the look with some strappy printed Jimmy Choo heels. Dobrev chose to make this the primary focus, but not adding any other accessories to her look, besides her man candy boyfriend Ian Somerhalder and sexy co-star Paul Wesley.

As for her hair—Nina parted it on the side and took it into an elegant low, messy side bun. She kept her hair out of her face and off of the neckline to show of her striking features and the mini's fun detailing.

Dobrev's makeup leaned towards her more natural Elena look from the hit tv show with a defined eye, bold brow, glowing rosy pink cheeks and a shiny light pink gloss.

Overall, this look was fun, classy, and perfect for Ms. Dobrev.
