With Cannes well underway we're breaking down which red carpet trends we love and which ones we LOATHE.

First trend we're loving for the guys is the white v neck under the sport jacket—Robert Pattinson & Brad Pitt both did this for their respected Photocalls and it's a very sexy, but casual look.

Next for the ladies—we're dying for the side swept hair. Basically Jessica Chastain nailed it with her hair voluminously curled and all pulled over the side for a very retro glamorous vibe.

Now one things we're pretty over is celebs not being able to walk in their dresses—that doesn't mean Eva's dress isn't absolutely breathtaking, but not being able to move is so distracting!

Do the train, but if you have to bring an extra handler to help you maneaver.

And another trend, we're STILL really loving is the thigh high slit—Angie did the leg, which we're not super fond of, but as long as you know how to pose in the slit like Kim Kardashian & Nina Dobrev, this trend is a GO for us.

Oh and Kristen Stewart and Jessie J—have got the red lips down and we're big fans. The red lip is the norm for Jessie J, but a little out of the ordinary for KStew, but we'll take it. The pop of color is awesome.

And one last trend that we don't mind missing out on is the really refined updo. We've seen some celebs doing the sleek look, but most are opting for summery do's like this from Kirsten Dunst at the premiere of On The Road.
