BROKEN BF4 DROPS EA STOCK PRICE (Escapist News Now)

EA's stock is down 7.3% according to Seeking Alpha after the announcement yesterday that all future work on downloadable content for Battlefield 4 has been halted. EA told IGN that they are working with DICE to fix the multitude of issues with the game, saying, "We know we still have a ways to go with fixing the game - it is absolutely our #1 priority." No work on future projects for DLC or other projects like Star Wars Battlefront will occur until the issues with Battlefield 4 are resolved.

In addition to the ongoing glitches, bugs, and server problems, many users have been experiencing extensive issues with the new DLC pack China Rising that is currently exclusive to Battlefield Premium members. Xbox Live members received a notification from Microsoft that they are working with EA to resolve issues, while Playstation put out a patch today for the PS4 version to fix some errors like the one-hit kill math error and crashing due to too many friends.

But the issues are not limited to consoles, PC users are also reporting getting dropped from multiplayer matches, sometimes within seconds of joining. On their support site EA said, "This fix will take some time to be fully completed, but players should be noticing normal gameplay behavior soon."
